FOO CHEE SAN 符致珊

A well known second generation local artist and art educator, Mr Foo Chee San (1928-2017) has created artworks of various mediums which include oil, wood-cut print and Chinese ink paintings over many decades. He has held 4 solo exhibitions and participated in numerous exhibitions around the world such as in Japan. Malaysia, Hong Kong, Russia and Italy.

Born 1928

Background
1956 Graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), Singapore
1984 Graduated in Art Education, the University of Tsukuba, Japan
1985 Awarded a Distinguished Service Medal, Singapore Art Society.
1988 Received the National Day Award (Long Service), Singapore.
