GOH BENG KWAN 吴珉权

Goh Beng Kwan’s prominent works are created through an exuberant process of layering paper over canvas, then painting over with various mediums like watercolour, Chinese ink, acrylic as well as gold and silver pigments. As Singapore’s pre-eminent abstract artist, Goh Beng Kwan continues to challenge boundaries in his work, creating artworks in various mediums, such as paper pulp, water collages and batik. In 1989, he won the Cultural Medallion Award for his contributions in visual arts.
