wang mo ping 王模平

Using his sensitivity of light, Wang’s paintings captures the characteristics and beauty of Mother Nature. His impressionist paintings gives off a calming and romantic atmosphere of our local landscapes. His artwork titled ‘Jurong Fishery Port’ earned him first place at the annual Dr Tan Tsze Chor Art Awards by Singapore Art Society in 2019.

Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art Hubei Provincial Cultural Bureau (1983 - 1995)
1984 Awarded Bronze Medal at the 6th Hubei Province Art Exhibition, China
1990 Awarded The Second Prize of Collecting and Identification of Hubei Folk Arts and
Craft, China
1995 Associate Professor at Hubei Academy of Fine Arts (1995 - 2003)
2001 Migrated to Singapore

Various artworks have been collected by local and oversea‘s galleries and private collections.
