月落乌啼霜满天
江枫渔火对愁眠
姑苏城外寒山寺
夜半钟声到客船

As the cold night descends, birds can be heard. One observes the maple trees and fishing houses by the riverbank as he falls asleep. As the boat sails down the river in the middle of the night, the ringing bells from a temple can be heard.”

This poem by Tang dynasty poet Zhang Ji describes a night scene during Autumn in Jiang Nan province. Through this writing, Lim Tze Peng reflects his vast experience and strong foundations in traditional calligraphy writing. Each character is of equal proportion, the brushstrokes reveal the inner strength of his hand and brush. Overall, this is a confident piece of writing by Lim Tze Peng.
