In the early 80s, Singaporean artist Nai Swee Leng was already a well known master in Chinese ink painting. He was young, talented and full of vigour. Throughout his career, Nai Swee Leng was very active in the art scene, which included contributing articles on art to the newspapers, establishing art societies and promoting various art activities. All these contributions, coupled with his artistic achievements, drew much attention and praise from art communities in Singapore, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Malaysia.
