Matthew Lee (Le Matt)

Singaporean artist Matthew Lee (Le Matt) left his engineering degree course to pursue his passion in Western painting and graduated from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 2011.

Since graduating, Matt has exhibited at venues including Esplanade, The Arts House, National Design Centre, Aliwal Arts Centre, Objectifs Gallery and the Affordable Art Fair.

His brushwork is often energetic and fragmented as he blurs the line between representation and expression, and navigates between construction and deconstruction.
