独钓寒江雪
小舟上一位披戴着蓑笠的老翁
在寒冷的江面上钓鱼
这首诗是柳宗元其中一首代表作。
虽然当时作者在政洽上不利，
他却通过诗里渔翁的清高，性格孤傲
把自己人生的价值和理想志趣表现出来。

These lines are from a famous piece by Tang Dynasty poet Liu Zong Yuan. It was written during the period where Liu faced challengers and difficulties in the political scene. Through the depiction of the lone fisherman, Liu Zong Yuan expressed his own values and ideals.

Lim Tze Peng was conferred the Cultural Medallion in 2003, and received the Meritorious Service Medal at the National Day Awards in 2016.
