The catalogue was published in conjunction with Nai Swee Leng’s solo art exhibition in 2016.
A Long Way From Home Chua Ek Kay Solo Exhibition 2018
In 2018, collectors contributed their paintings by Chua Ek Kay and held an exhibition titled A Long Way From Home. Held at Singapore Management University, it presented works of artist from the perspectives of the artist’s family, collectors and students. It hoped to contribute to the broader memory of and conversation about Chua Ek Kay.

In 1966, Dr Ho Ho Kah Leong became a member of parliament representing the Jurong constituency, he went on to serve the people for the next 30 years. Dr Ho was also a high school teacher during that time, educating students from Nan Chiau High School and Chung Hwa Girls High School.
