Art writer and artist Mr Choy Weng Yang comments on Singaporean artist Tung Yue Nang’s ink paintings. This piece of writing, incorporated in art catalogue titled Silence was published in 2014 in conjunction with Tung Yue Nang’s solo exhibition.

Former principal of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) Dr Ho Kah Leong writes about Singaporean ink master Mr Nai Swee Leng. This short piece of writing is published in Mr Nai’s art catalogue, Expressing Emotions Nanyang Ink Works by Nai Swee Leng. The catalogue was published in conjunction with Nai Swee Leng’s solo art exhibition in 2016.

In 2018, collectors contributed their paintings by Chua Ek Kay and held an exhibition titled A Long Way From Home. Held at Singapore Management University, it presented works of artist from the perspectives of the artist’s family, collectors and students. It hoped to contribute to the broader memory of and conversation about Chua Ek Kay.

Through this essay, the collectors shared their thoughts and understanding on Ek Kay’s paintings.

In 1966, Dr Ho Ho Kah Leong became a member of parliament representing the Jurong constituency, he went on to serve the people for the next 30 years. Dr Ho was also a high school teacher during that time, educating students from Nan Chiau High School and Chung Hwa Girls High School.
